Eleven Eleven Consulting Inc. is an Alberta based Indigenous owned and operated company focused on creating awareness and educating groups on Indigenous history and respectful engagement and consultation. Director Teneya Gwin is proud and excited to continue building on 14 years of presenting and facilitation as well as Indigenous, public and stakeholder consultation and engagement.

Teneya’s goal with every project is to create a safe space and platform for the Indigenous voice and perspective. Eleven Eleven is committed to meaningful and transparent engagement with community members and ongoing dialogue and communication with her clients, communities and stakeholders. Eleven Eleven focuses on project work that can elevate the Truth and Reconciliation’s calls to actions by advocating for change and decolonizing western business.

Teneya’s Métis culture and experiences have made her well versed in proper protocol when interacting with Indigenous communities, allowing her to excel in diverse engagement opportunities.

Teneya Gwin

Teneya Gwin; mother, partner, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, and colleague. Teneya is sixth generation Métis and a member of the Cunningham Clan and descendant from the Michel First Nation. She is a proud Métis woman with a passion to bring awareness and education of Indigenous culture and history to all projects. 

Teneya has worked with almost every First Nation, Métis region and Métis settlement in Alberta. Her experience ranges in multiple different sectors such as; transportation, land use planning, community planning, traditional land use and Indigenous place making. Her experience makes her well rounded and adaptive to all project work. Her knowledge of Canada’s history with Indigenous peoples helps facilitate learning conversations to advance reconciliation through each of the project she works on. Her project work has been focused on advocating for Indigenous inclusion, creating awareness of Indigenous Culture and facilitating conversations with Indigenous communities across Alberta.
